Aram Ayra is a longtime Riverside resident, City Commissioner, and nonprofit leader with a strong record of public service and community leadership.
He currently serves as Associate Director of Development at Big Brothers Big Sisters, where he works to expand youth mentorship programs and strengthen opportunities across the Inland Empire. During the pandemic, Aram served on the frontlines with FEMA, helping hundreds of Riverside families and small businesses access resources and recovery support.
Today, Aram continues his service as CEO of the Riverside Neighborhood Partnership, where he brings residents together to improve quality of life across the city. He also serves on the City's Budget Engagement Commission and the UC Riverside Alumni Board, working to ensure Riverside’s future remains strong, inclusive, and well-prepared.
Aram earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UC Riverside and has called Ward 2 home for more than a decade. He’s running for City Council to bring practical leadership, transparent decision-making, and a steady focus on what matters most to the people of Riverside. Aram envisions a city where local businesses can grow, first responders have the tools and support they need to keep us safe, and residents can enjoy a high quality of life without being priced out of the neighborhoods they love.
